Licensed Mental Health Counselor / Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LMHC/, LCSW)-$80k-$90kannual salary! Social Workers are needed for an FQHC organization inManhattan, NY.Prior experience in mental health, substance abuse, LGBTQIA+, or HIV/AIDS population is highly preferred. This is afull-time direct hireopportunity.Paid medical insurance and PTO offered. High integrity and character are a must. --- Our client is a well-established FQHC focused on the LGBTQIA+ and HIV/AIDS population and they are seeking a Licensed Clinical Therapist with experience in substance abuse treatment to provide high-quality therapeutic services for individuals struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. The ideal candidate is compassionate, knowledgeable, and committed to fostering long-term recovery for clients. Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for clients with substance use and mental health disorders. Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, MI, and trauma-informed care. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with clients' recovery goals. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, case managers, and peer support specialists. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations. Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary. Educate clients and families on addiction, coping strategies, relapse prevention, and mental health concerns. Stay current with best practices in addiction treatment and behavioral health. Qualifications:Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. Active LCSW or LMHC in New York State. Must have experience working with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
