Job Description: A Mobile Associate (MA) plays a vital role as part of a Retail Team of Experts in bringing the Metro by T-Mobile brand to life. They embody the spirit of Metro by T-Mobile, serving as brand ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services. They are passionate about the connected world and thrive in a fast-paced environment where technology innovations, customer needs, and the retail experience continuously evolve. Their ability to build meaningful connections with customers and deepen existing relationships is unmatched across the wireless industry. As a Mobile Associate, they work to develop expertise in uncovering customer needs and have a passion for educating, demonstrating, and recommending device and service solutions. This role involves continuous learning, where new experts work with their team and proactively build skills and competencies in preparation for advancing to the next level as a Mobile Expert. To succeed in this role, you will be required to complete new employee training and effectively fulfill the following responsibilities: Builds proficiency in serving and selling to customers while providing a best-in-class customer experience and building loyalty. Helps customers pick up where they left off in their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care, or in-store. Explores individual needs and provides hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology in-store. Side-by-side selling to find personalized solutions beyond basic devices and service plans that keep customers connected to people and lifestyle they love. Guides customers through purchasing experiences using thoughtful questions, informative answers, and sharing expertise. Approaches service and sales needs with patience, honesty, and empathy. Becomes skilled with and consistently leverages digital tools in interactions and onboarding to actively demonstrate Metro by T-Mobile's expanding coverage, unique features, and redefined wireless experience. Completes training on Metro by T-Mobile's in-store experience, new skills, processes, knowledge of systems, and reference resources. Makes the most of their time on shift, seeking out information between customers, learning about innovations in wireless and technology. Qualifications: Patient and empathetic customer advocate with a desire to connect and have fun with customers. Desire to be part of the game-changing Metro by T-Mobile store team. Competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment. Willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, learning and sharing best practices while serving customers and resolving issues. Effective at balancing customer experience and performance goals. Minimum Qualifications: At least 18 years old L Legally authorized to work in the United States High School Diploma or GED Work varied shifts, seven days per week, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, including full-time training Written and verbal communication skills Tech savvy Demonstrated creative problem-solving
