Position Overview: Siemens Mobility Traction Drives in Alpharetta, GA, seeks a skilled Commercial Project Manager to improve project management. The ideal candidate will oversee financial performance, manage risks, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on project progress, as well as coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and achieve project milestones. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. What your day-to-day will look like: Commercial profit and loss responsibility for all assigned orders together with the technical project manager (PM) by applicable terms and conditions (i.e. ZRG Siemens Conditions for internal business). Maintaining and updating plan cost of sales orders, optimizing project margins, cash flow, and assets management. Foreign exchange risk mitigation, hedging strategies, and international tax requirements. Commercial bid management including negotiations of commercial terms and conditions for external bids. Ensure accuracy of project books and compliance with Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines as well as local GAAP. Supervise and control project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and deliverables that support business goals in alignment with senior management and partners. Ensure compliance with contract documents and proactively handle changes in project scope, identify potential problems, and develop appropriate contingency plans. Provide monthly project reports, and presentations to management and customers, as applicable. Actively connect with customer's representatives and handle solving of project issues. Involvement in procurement activities as applicable. Review and approve financial documents and purchase orders as per signature authority guidelines. To thrive in this role, you have: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (or foreign degree equivalent). Excellent collaboration and communication, strong analytical skills. Project management experience. Accounting knowledge. Proficiency in SAP/ Spiridon, and MS Office, especially advanced in Excel. Working experience of 5 years or more in Siemens finance/ commercial functions. Occasional travel within the US; and Europe is possible. What will make you standout: Master's degree in business administration or related field. CPM certification according to PM@siemens.
