High levels of integrity, accountability, the willingness to speak up, and an unshakeable ability to maintain a brisk pace and consistently positive, can-do attitude are necessary in upholding TDX quality and safety standards while disrupting and challenging the industry status quo.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS Experience as a carpenter, deck hand, or other related role on marine construction projects Possess a working knowledge of engineering drawings, sketches, and blueprints OSHA 10 Certified OSHA 4-Hour Qualified Rigging & Signaling CPR & First Aid Certified Class A CDL license Bilingual (English/Spanish) BENEFITS Medical (50% of employee-only cost covered by the company) Dental Vision Beyond Med (health and wellness discount program) AFLAC (Accident advantage, hospital choice, cancer protection, critical care protection) 6 Company Paid Holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day) Quarterly team events Paid training opportunities Bonus Incentives: customer referrals, employee referrals, maintenance plan sales, 5-Star Google Reviews 401(k) 401(k) company matching up to 4% PTO (7 days, 1 additional day after each additional year of service) ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Ensure proper setup, operation, takedown, cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of materials, equipment, and machinery Assist in loading/unloading of materials, equipment, and supplies to and from trucks, jobsites, and barges, ensuring proper stowage and securing of cargo to prevent shifting or damage during transit If operating on a barge, assist in proper mooring/anchoring of vessels, handling lines, chains, and anchors in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines Perform tasks aligned to projects: demolition, construction, and/or installation of seawalls, docks, piles, boatlifts: digging, shoveling, lifting, carrying, carpentry, framing, rigging, positioning structural components, and working with a wide variety of tools and equipment Ensure construction equipment and tools are clean, organized, and stored in an orderly fashion after each use. Dispose of rubble/debris/trash and hazardous, worn, damaged, outdated, or other waste materials from work areas and maintain a baseline organization and site cleanliness Assist with routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning/painting/lubricating equipment & machinery. Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel for resolution ESSENTIAL JOB, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years construction experience Current, valid driver's license Reliable personal transportation Conversational in English Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Ability to work a full shift in extreme heat Ability to swim Ability to pass a controlled substance screening Ability to pass a background check
