Assistant ControllerAbout the Company - Assistant Controller CFS New York is working with a global construction and development company looking for an Assistant Controller to join their team They have great benefits, generous PTO, automatic employer 5% contribution to 401K, and an Employee Stock Ownership program They are currently working with over 16 Billion in revenue with 1 Billion added over the last year Looking for someone to bring a business mindset to the organization and work out of their office in Queens, NYRole Responsibilities - Assistant Controller Work on trial balances, reconciliations, partial monthly reporting and full quarterly reporting Focus on GAAP and financials Process and reconcile customer credits against A/R invoices Reconcile inventory Communicate with partners regarding charges/insurancePreferred Qualifications - Assistant Controller Bachelors Degree in Accounting 5+ years of Accounting Experience Construction background is a plus CPA is a plus Familiarity with ERP Systems- JD Edwards is a huge plus#LI-RP2
