Delivery Driver/Warehouse

Wallauer Paint Hardware & Design is hiring immediately looking to hire non CDL Delivery Driver with light warehouse duties. Essential Functions of the job: Driving a truck or van delivering to businesses, jobsites and other Wallauer locations in Westchester, Putnam and Rockland County. Pre-load van with deliveries. Pre route deliveries for the day. Maintain inventory transfer tickets ensuring the accuracy of loaded items. Ensure truck or van is always in drivable condition. Making sure all inspections and insurances are up to date. Making sure to report any maintenance issues to management. Warehouse tasks include receiving, stocking, pricing of all merchandise and help maintain a clean and orderly merchandise presentation and overall store cleanliness. Logistics: Westchester or Putnam County Permanent, Part / Full Time, Hourly Position Reports to Paint Manager Supervises no one Job Location Varies Work environment on-premises, very little travel required Essential Functions of the job: * Driving a truck or van through the five boroughs, Westchester, Putnam and Rockland counties * Pre-load van with deliveries * Pre route deliveries for the day * Maintain inventory transfer tickets ensuring the accuracy of loaded items * Ensure truck or van is drivable at all times * Checking vehicle daily for safety * Making sure all inspections and insurances are up to date Company Introduction After 100 years as a family-owned business Wallauer is now owned by it's employees.
