For more information about MTSI, please visit . Responsibilities We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the preparation, negotiation, acceptance, and management of government contracts and subcontracts, ensuring proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Key Responsibilities: Conduct the preparation, negotiation, acceptance, and management of government contracts and subcontracts to ensure proper contract acquisition and fulfillment. Analyze estimates of material, equipment, and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Review contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications, and requirements, and conformance to master agreements. Advise management of contractual rights and obligations and provide interpretation of terms and conditions. Participate in the development of budgets, schedules, and performance standards to support contract execution and compliance. Ensure all contract activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, finance, and legal teams, to ensure alignment and successful contract execution. Identify and mitigate risks associated with contract performance and compliance. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in contract management. Provide training and guidance to junior contract management staff as needed. Qualifications Required: Conducts the preparation, negotiation, acceptance, and management of government contracts and subcontracts to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Desired: Highly Desired: past or present experience with SSC or mission partner space control or space situational awareness mission area programs Education Requirements: BS/BA along with a minimum 15 years of relevant experience or Master's degree along with a minimum 13 years of relevant experience or PhD along with a minimum 4 years of relevant experience Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret, SCI eligible. Eligibility for access to SAP Information. U.S. Citizenship is required for this position. Location/Travel Requirements: Place of work is El Segundo, CA area May require travel up to 10% of time within the continental United States. The pay range for this position in California is $160,000/year to $210,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract wages, job- related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.
