The employee in this position must ensure the adherence to safe work practices and procedures. This is the full journey level class; the position requires FOUR YEARS of journey level experience performing minor and major equipment repair to heavy trucks and equipment. The position requires current possession of "OR" the ability to obtain a Class A CDL License with Tanker Endorsement, NC Emission/Safety Inspection License and Air Conditioning Recovery Certification within SIX MONTHS of hire date. The position requires walking, stooping, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs. It also requires exposure to dust, grease, noise, heat, cold and inclement weather.
