Restaurant Team Member - Counter Service Location: Multiple locations in New York, NY Pay: Per hour commensurate with experience Job Type: Full-time or Part-time (Hourly, Shift-based) Expected Hours: 30 - 40 per week About Us Counter Service is an exciting new restaurant brand founded by Steve Ells, the visionary behind Chipotle, in collaboration with acclaimed Chef Andrew Black. After the success of our first location, we are now expanding to three additional restaurants in NYC. We are passionate about serving high-quality, chef-driven food in a fast-paced, welcoming environment. We are seeking experienced and dedicated Restaurant Crew Members to be part of our growing team. This role is key to delivering an exceptional dining experience through expert sandwich preparation, precise order bagging, and outstanding customer service. What You'll Do Food Preparation and Service: Operate makeline stations, including sandwich prep and assembly, bun toasting, and panini press operation. Order Processing: Accurately bag and check orders for completeness and quality. Customer Interaction: Operate the point-of-sale system and ensure friendly, attentive service. Quality and Safety: Follow health and safety protocols to maintain the highest food and sanitation standards. Teamwork and Efficiency: Work closely with fellow crew members to ensure smooth operations during each shift. What We're Looking For 18+ years old with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Minimum 1-year food service experience (Required) Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment Strong English communication skills Comfortable using restaurant technology systems Must have NYC Food Protection Certificate and NYC Food Handlers Certificate (Required to apply and join) Why Join Us?
