(" USA ") is a local non-profit organization founded in 2012 with a mission to end youth homelessness in the San Diego area. At this time, USA operates in three related areas: supportive housing programs, rapid re-housing programs, and social enterprise programs. Program : Just Be U (" JBU ") program. USA's JBU program targets TAY with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. JBU's goal is to break the cycle of youth homelessness by providing short"term housing and facilitating connections to individualized treatment and community resources. Position : Program Manager Overview : USA is searching for an experienced Program Manager to manage and provide day-to-day coordination for clinical aspects of the JBU program. The Program Manager will oversee the program's budget and policies, guide the program, and work closely with internal directors and community partners. The Program Manager will supervise approximately five to eight direct reports in case management, peer support, outreach, and security. This position reports to the COO and works closely with the CFO and CEO. Requirements for the Program Manager role: M.A. / M.S. in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Human Services, or a closely related field with a minimum of three (3) years of professional experience, including at least one (1) year as a Program Manager. B.A. / B.S. in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Human Services, or a closely related field with a minimum of four (4) years of professional experience, including at least two (2) years as a Program Manager. Experience running effective programs to satisfy contract requirements and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Experience supervising staff and providing supportive services to TAY, including crisis intervention and conflict resolution. Ability to maintain compliance with required trainings and prepare for program audits. Experience reinforcing staff awareness of program goals and challenges. Collaborate with CPO and CFO to verify data accuracy and provide staff training. Demonstrated focus on innovation and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. Must pass a background check and meet program-specific certification requirements. Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The Program Manager should preferably have knowledge in: San Diego County's behavioral health and community support services. Holistic wellness principles and dual diagnosis/co-occurring disorders. Trauma-informed care and case management techniques. Community resources in San Diego County. Program-specific responsibilities: Oversee the JBU mentorship program and manage program records. Coordinate with the cook for nutrition support. Ensure effective service delivery and compliance. Establish MOUs with holistic care practitioners. Participate in policy and procedure development. Manage pre- and post-surveys for program participants. Develop relationships with key community service providers. USA reserves the right to revise job descriptions as needed.
