Job Description AECOM is actively seeking a Transportation Project Manager to support our exciting projects in the Chicago, IL office. The appropriately qualified applicant will have demonstrated experience in project and client management of multi-disciplinary transportation projects. The candidate will have various management, leadership, and people accountability responsibilities for a specific technical group / department. Job Responsibilities: Builds strong relationships and interacts regularly with existing and new clients, teaming partners, industry groups and stakeholders Continue and strengthen client relationships within the Surface Transportation Industry, specific to public sector clients. Identifies, pursues, and wins Surface Transportation and infrastructure design projects. Coordinates and collaborates with other leaders within AECOM's U.S. West Transportation Group. The Project Manager serves as lead engineer, approves, and signs off on work on local, state, and federal projects. Provides technical expertise for studies and design efforts. Performs technical reviews of work developed by others. Continuously interacts with clients assuring satisfaction with AECOM services and interacting with project delivery personnel to ensure any service issues are identified and addressed in a proactive manner. Drives project performance and is responsible for the performance of a portfolio of projects Collaborates with peers/leaders in the AECOM U.S. West department to leverage technical expertise, ensure client satisfaction and implement best practices. Participates in development of technical proposals. Qualifications: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: BA/BS + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience or education PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering IL PE license, or ability to obtain within 6 months 8+ years of experience delivering transportation projects 3+ years of experience as a project and client manager Experience managing multi-disciplinary transportation projects Client relationships, business development, and pursuit capture experience Experience managing a team or group Roadway, traffic, drainage, or structures design background Must be able to thrive in a team environment Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to track and manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules #J-18808-Ljbffr
