Sr. Project Manager

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful execution of global telecommunications, IT, and hosting projects. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on project execution skills to ensure service implementation meets client and business objectives. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing complex technical projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring that all contractual and service commitments are fulfilled. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end implementation of global telecommunications, IT, and hosting projects, ensuring adherence to technical design, budgets, schedules, and customer contracts. Act as the primary project owner, overseeing risk management, stakeholder communication, and project execution. Ensure projects follow PMO standards and industry best practices, aligning with corporate strategy. Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, timelines, risk assessments, and customer-facing reports. Manage relationships with local service providers, third-party vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Oversee project financials, including cost tracking, forecasting, and budget management. Coordinate and collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure efficient project execution across multiple geographies. Serve as an escalation point for project-related issues, ensuring prompt resolution and risk mitigation. Support the transition of completed projects to operations and service management teams, ensuring a smooth handover and ongoing service quality. Mentor and guide Junior Project Managers, providing leadership and best practices in project management. Qualifications & Skills: 8+ years of experience in project management within telecommunications (required). Strong knowledge of telecom networks, IT infrastructure, and service delivery (e.g., MPLS, SD-WAN, Cloud Services, Hosting, M2M solutions). Experience leading global, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions independently. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage directly with customers and senior leadership. Strong financial acumen (e.g., P&L, budgeting, EBITDA analysis). Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile, Waterfall). Fluency in English and Spanish is required; Portuguese is a plus. PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
