Key Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of the preschool program, including curriculum development, staff supervision, and enrollment management. Ensure compliance with all state licensing regulations and maintain program accreditation standards. Supervise and mentor preschool staff, encouraging collaboration and professional growth. Establish and maintain positive relationships with families, fostering open and respectful communication. Manage budgets, resources, and scheduling for the preschool program. Requirements Minimum Qualifications (Required): Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development (CD), or a related field. Includes 24 semester units in ECE or CD coursework, with at least 6 units in administration and 2 units in adult supervision. Experience: At least one year of teaching experience in a licensed child care center or comparable group program. Licensing and Permits: Child Development Site Supervisor Permit (required). Must pass a background check and complete Virtus training. Preferred Qualifications: Child Development Program Director Permit: Demonstrates advanced knowledge and qualifications for overseeing multiple site child care programs.
