Location: Eden Prairie MN This role oversees the New Product Introduction (NPI) activities to facilitate the successful integration of new products from R&D into volume production. This role's responsibilities will include staffing and establishing technical skills, tools, and work processes among these groups. Responsibilities: NPI Full responsibility and accountability on all NPI activities of the Business Unit. Ensure new products are manufacturable, meet production specifications as well as production and quality standards. Ensure the production processes used for our products are efficient and meet cost and quality requirements. Ensure product and process knowledge are well defined and transferred to production, including work done with suppliers and contract manufacturers. Manage and mentor team in areas of engineering expertise and innovation, constantly moving the team towards innovative processes and products as well as improvements in technical skills and system knowledge. Define, qualify, and implement new manufacturing technologies as necessary for new product requirements. Engage team members in cross-functional teams per the PLCM process. Actively communicate NPI status, risks, mitigation plans, and performance against requirements. Leadership Provide employee development, training and employee reviews, while fostering good communication and teamwork. Partner closely with Supply Chain, Program and Product Management to ensure PLCM and product success. Partner with Operations on smooth transitions from development to production. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors in Engineering or related discipline 8+ years of experience 3+ years experience with leading a project or major initiative Experience in Hardware NPI PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in 3D printing Experience with common production and Operations management processes TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: 5% Stratasys (Nasdaq: SSYS), headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Rehovot, Israel, has been a leader in the 3D printing industry for over thirty years.
