Here are a few things you'll likely find yourself doing in this role... Responsible for the operation of the technical support operations including preventative maintenance and proactive / reactive customer support. Directly supervises the leaders of Helpdesk Tiers 1, 2, and 3. Responsible for management of technical operations in the Managed Services division aligned with security frameworks including NIST 800-53 and CIS-18, and operational frameworks including SOC2 and ISO27001. Responsible for managing the contracted technicians through Flexis and Hirexe, assigning tasks and supervising scheduled maintenance work. Provide security oversight to critical security escalations. Manage technical responses to issues raised by the monitoring platforms in use. Consult and advise customers on technology usage. Maintain and expand technical skills through training and certification. Responsible for ensuring the helpdesk is staffed throughout the published operating hours and that enough technicians are available (not assigned other duties) for telephone and remote support as customer demands fluctuate. Here's what you need to have... 7+ years of progressive IT experience, 3+ years of experience managing technical operations in the Managed Services environment. Experience with operational frameworks including SOC2 and ISO27001. Experience with security frameworks including NIST 800-53 and CIS-18. Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP). Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and projects. Ability to earn at least 4 CPE Credits annually.
