The Position The Interim General Manager of Beaverkill Mountain Club (BMC) will lead operations of the Club and Inn during the summer season and is responsible for all aspects of the operation including its activities and relationships between the Club and Board, members, guests, and community. The Interim GM sustains and administers the Club's policies as defined by the Board and directs and supports the work of all managers; monitors the budget; monitors the quality of the products and services. The Interim GM will work closely with the Board of Directors, managers, and staff to maintain the high standards of service and member/guest experience that define Beaverkill Mountain Club and Beaverkill Valley Inn. The Candidate The ideal candidate is a front-line leader, resourceful, adaptable, and experienced in private club and inn or resort management. Given the seasonal nature of this role, the Interim GM must be able to quickly assess the Club's culture, understand the needs of visiting inn guests, build rapport with staff and members, and maintain operational excellence throughout the transition period. The Interim GM will provide updates and helpful observations to the Board and will provide recommendations for operational improvements and best practices based on their experience and expertise. The Salary The salary is negotiable based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
