Base pay range $71,884.00/yr - $86,146.00/yr The Associate Director, Admissions executes the strategic vision established by the Marketing and Admissions teams, translating their campaigns into targeted recruitment communications in the CRM across email, SMS and print channels. Working closely with the Marketing leadership team, this position manages the day-to-day coordination and implementation of enrollment tactics while overseeing student ambassadors who support social media and Goodkind video content creation efforts. The role serves as a key bridge between Marketing initiatives and Admissions operations, ensuring consistent delivery of Otis's message across all prospective and current student touchpoints. In addition, this role offers key support to Admissions events and engagement strategies. This position reports directly to the Vice President, Admissions and Financial Aid, with a dotted line to the Director of Digital Marketing. CORE DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: With Marketing and Admissions leadership, assist in the development of enrollment marketing communications using the CRM, including scheduling email campaigns for all stages of the admissions funnel, developing SMS messaging, and coordinating Slate print materials. Draft and build ad hoc communications that support events and outreach efforts. Support the planning and execution of on-campus recruitment and enrollment events, such as Accepted Student Day, Open House and Portfolio Day, to ensure these events are high yield. Regularly review and submit updates to Admissions and Financial Aid content on the Otis website, coordinating with Communications and Marketing and relevant departments to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Serve as primary liaison with external marketing vendors, managing relationships and coordinating deliverables. Use Asana to project manage the communications schedule and ensure completion of all elements on deadline. Review drafted admissions communications from Marketing and provide content recommendations and revisions to support Admissions strategy. Work with Marketing on the annual content updates to admissions viewbooks and other supporting print materials. Coordinate printing and delivery of ad hoc communications and print materials such as postcard campaigns through Slate Print. Oversee updates to Admissions recruitment presentations including sourcing new content and making updates to content with Admissions leadership, ensuring consistency with Otis' brand guidelines and marketing vision. Attend standing marketing and admissions meetings to review ongoing campaign messaging, shared priorities, and to strategize future initiatives. Partner with the Director of Digital Marketing to develop blog content to support Admissions and Financial Aid. Manage the Goodkind video platform, collaborating with student ambassadors to create authentic content that showcases the Otis experience and schedule videos for sending to specific audiences at the right time. Manage Ocelot chatbot for Admissions and provide updates to the knowledge library as needed. Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in enrollment marketing, analyzing industry shifts and student behavior, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance engagement and effectively connect with prospective students across multiple channels. Partner with Marketing and Communications to develop and implement communication strategies for Financial Aid and One Stop offices with a focus on payment deadlines and requirements to increase retention and continuing student engagement. Partner with marketing to develop and plan dedicated Admissions and Aid focused content for social media presence across platforms, including Instagram and TikTok, working closely with student ambassadors to develop authentic, engaging content that resonates with prospective students and helps to strengthen applications and yield. Assist with the development of Slate email snippets and content templates for Admissions staff use in Slate. Partner with Marketing to monitor analytics and engagement metrics in Slate and on partner platforms; build Slate reports to identify trends and areas for strategic growth. Monitor the effectiveness of paid partnerships through Slate reporting and make recommendations for future partnerships. Serve as a part of the Admissions management team and attends weekly meetings. Assist with Admissions outreach campaigns to students and families and monitor Admissions inbox as needed. REQUIRED SKILLS and EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Art, Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field or equivalent work experience 3+ years of experience in education or enrollment management or related field Exceptional writing and editing skills with proven ability to create compelling content across multiple platforms Demonstrated knowledge of CRM systems (particularly Slate) and content management systems Experience supporting web and social media content Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Working knowledge of design software and basic video editing Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion with proven experience implementing inclusive marketing strategies PREFERRED SKILLS and EXPERIENCE: Experience in art and design education environment Advanced knowledge of CRM analytics and automation platforms Background in event planning and execution Master's degree in related field Experience managing relationships with external vendors Experience mentoring student workers or ambassadors Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Administrative and Education Industries Higher Education #J-18808-Ljbffr
