An industry-leading manufacturing company is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, with a strong focus on vendor management, contract negotiation, forecasting, S&OP, warehouse inventory management, outbound logistics, and process improvement . This role is critical in driving cost efficiency, supply chain reliability, and operational alignment with business objectives . Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic raw material suppliers. Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery standards. Lead contract negotiations for raw materials, manufacturing equipment, and services. Oversee warehouse management system implementation and optimization. Manage outbound logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective product delivery. Drive S&OP and Integrated Manufacturing Planning (IMP) processes to align supply chain with sales and production goals. Improve Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) processes to enhance efficiency and cost savings. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain effectiveness. Partner with Production, Sales, Finance, R&D, and Quality teams to support overall business objectives. Provide executive leadership with insights and strategic recommendations on supply chain performance. Travel required (25-35%) for vendor visits, conferences, and plant assessments. Qualifications & Experience: 10+ years of supply chain management experience, preferably in manufacturing. Proven expertise in strategic procurement of raw materials, vendor management, contract negotiation, and logistics . 5+ years of experience leading S&OP processes, procurement strategies, and MRO selection . Strong proficiency in TMS, ERP, and WMS systems . Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to influence and drive change across cross-functional teams. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred). CPSM or equivalent certification is a plus.
