Date Posted:03/07/2025 Hiring Organization:Rose International Position Number:479323 Job Title:Software Engineer Job Location:New York City, NY, USA, 10001 Work Model:Hybrid Shift: Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm 2 days a week onsite (Tuesday and Thursday) Employment Type:Temporary Estimated Duration (In months):4 Min Hourly Rate ($):60.00 Max Hourly Rate ($):75.00 Must Have Skills/Attributes:MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Software DevelopmentJob Description***Only qualified Software Engineer candidates located near the New York NY area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***Required Education: • Bachelor's degreeRequired Qualifications: • 10+ years of professional software development experience, with a significant portion in a senior or leadership role • Extensive experience in software development with proficiency in multiple programming languages, including TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, Flutter, React Native, Swift, and Kotlin • Deep understanding of high-performance database design and experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB • Proven track record of delivering large-scale, high-impact software projects • Experience building real-time video telecommunication applications • Experience building and managing B2B APIs • Experience building B2B portals with Single Sign-On (SSO) integration • Experience with transaction systems utilizing asynchronous queues • Experience building and deploying iOS and Android applications with a history of achieving high user ratings (4.5+) • Experience integrating with eCommerce platforms such as Adyen or others • 2+ years of experience in Senior Living Industry • Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills • Ability to mentor and guide other engineersResponsibilities: • Architect and implement a new B2B and a B2C Assessment platform using modern technologies such as TypeScript, React, React Native, Flutter, and GraphQL • Champion and implement best software development practices to ensure resilient, modular, scalable, and flexible systems • Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and quality metrics to guarantee code maintainability and reliability • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews to team members, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement • Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into robust technical specifications • Lead the implementation of consistent CI/CD pipelines and contribute to DevSecOps practices • Contribute to the hosting and deployment strategy for the platform**Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered. ****Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client's business needs and requirements. **Benefits: For information and details on employment benefits offered with this position, please visit here.
