Join the firm to continue the legacy that he has built in the Structural Field.Osborn Engineering is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with 5-10 years of experiences for our Columbus office location who will report tothe Director of Structural Engineering. The ideal candidate will have structural engineering experience in a consulting engineering environment working with private and public sector clients.Position ResponsibilitiesCoordinating Structural design with MEPFC consultantsCoordinating Architect, Clients and Contractors.Maintain client relationshipManage multiple projects at various stages in designWrite project specificationsKnowledge of Post tension design is a plusManage/Help production of documents for the project in Revit / AutoCADPerform detailed design and analysis of the project using either RISA suite, Tedds or EnercalcGravity - Roof, Floors, Walls and FoundationsLateral - Main Lateral load resisting elements + Components and CladdingPerform cost estimation and value engineering when requiredPerform site visit for collecting existing information or site observationsRespond to permit comments, RFIs and Change ordersAttend project coordination meetingsHelp with proposal writing and fee estimationPerform QAQC on projects done by other engineersReview shop drawings and inspection reportsHelp with maintaining project scheduleExcellent organizations and communication skillsProactive and Collaborative team memberJob Requirements/QualificationsBS Structural Engineering.5-10 years of structural design experienceWorking knowledge of structural analysis and design software such as REVIT, RISA 3D, RISA Floor, ADAPT.Proficient Knowledge of local and national building codes and design practices - IBC, AISC, ACI, NDS, AISIStrong Technical knowledge - Concrete, Steel, Wood, Masonry and Cold-formMidrise Multifamily or commercial office buildings design.Experience in designing Healthcare, Sports, Commercial, Public Sector, Industrial, Education, and/or Institutional projects is a plus.PE/SE License Preferred.Additional InformationWe can offer you a challenging career with one of the Nation's most respected and diverse Engineering Firms.
