This is a direct hire, fulltime permanent role. Candidate may be required to work onsite sometimes in either NJ or NYC. Candidates must be willing/able to work w2; NO 1099 or C2C will be considered. A four-year bachelor's degree is required. ResponsibilitiesLead the testing efforts for production support, maintenance, and enhancement of all applications within the GNY IT ecosystem, including Guidewire Policy Center, Billing Center, ImageRight, GhostDraft, and API integrations. Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications. Build sprint test design and execution plans, provide estimates for testing efforts, and maintain a monthly release cadence. Coordinate with project stakeholders to define testing strategies and priorities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of testing activities with sprint plans and monthly release schedules. Identify and report defects, track and manage defect resolution processes. Provide guidance and support to junior team members, including mentoring and training. Establish and maintain test processes to drive continuous improvements. Work closely with other Test Leads to ensure integrated systems meet or exceed quality standards. Participate in daily sprint standups and plan for test execution of stories, features, and epics. Manage allocation and assignments to drive test progress. Develop and maintain functional, end-to-end, performance, and regression test suites that cover all aspects of applications across the portfolio. Create test plans and approaches for time travel testing, including planning for required environments. Participate in business requirements reviews and provide feedback to developers. Collaborate with business stakeholders on test design reviews, incorporating feedback and obtaining test results signoff. Define test automation strategy to meet functional and non-functional requirements and drive implementation. Document defects as needed and assist development teams with retesting and prioritization to ensure closure. Identify test dependencies during PI planning and monitor/track those dependencies. Coordinate across delivery centers and maintain flexibility to drive the scope of work. Participate in key delivery ceremonies to ensure the team successfully plans and executes required test outcomes. Report progress and manage test risks and impediments. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field required. Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Quality Engineer or Quality Analyst with Guidewire products and insurance domain knowledge. Minimum of 4 years of experience with full implementation cycles of end-to-end insurance domain implementations. Minimum of 2 years of experience with test automation driven by Guidewire GT UI and API test frameworks. Minimum of 5 years of experience with tools like Jira, Git, Bitbucket, etc. SAFe Agile certification preferred. Guidewire associate certification with the latest v10 Guidewire product preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites. SkillsExtensive experience in the insurance domain, including policy, claims, and billing functions. Proficient with full implementation cycles of end-to-end insurance domain implementations. Experienced in test automation using Guidewire GT UI and API test frameworks. Skilled in leveraging Gatling for performance testing. Experienced in planning and designing time travel testing. Knowledgeable in multiple core integrations such as data warehouse, financial, portal, rating, etc. Understanding of GW branching and associated automation suite management. Proven experience in QE planning, design, and execution in a SAFe Agile environment. Skilled in implementing quality gates through GW TeamCity CI/CD and related tools. Familiar with SAFe Agile methodologies for integration and end-to-end planning and execution. Proficient in test automation across test data, data platforms, Guidewire, APIs, and non-functional testing. Pay Range and BenefitsPay Range: $90-150K/year.
