Equiliem is seeking a Psychologist for a job in Rockville Center, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Psychologist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 03/31/2025 Duration: Ongoing 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Staff Limited Permit PsyD - Starting salary: $90k/year (could be higher for Spanish speakers or candidates with specific experience). Fully Licensed PsyD - Starting salary: $175k. Details: • Desired Start Date: As soon as possible. • Schedule: Varies, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm, or 11am-7pm, Monday to Friday. • Interview Process: 1-2 interviews. Preferably in person; if virtual, a second in-person interview will be required. • Benefits & Perks: Health insurance stipend (they cover part of the employee's health insurance costs), paid holidays, paid time off for vacation and sick days (benefits start after the 120-day probation period). • Experience Requirements: Experience in neuropsychology, psych testing, and report writing. • Special Training/Certifications/Licensing Required: o PsyDs must be fully licensed to practice psychology in New York. o Limited Permit PsyDs must have all paperwork in order and be eligible for a limited permit; they cannot start until the license is approved and in hand. o For fully licensed PsyDs, being a registered provider with Medicare and workers' comp is a plus (not required). o Certification or experience in administering and interpreting the ADOS-2 test for autism is preferred for both positions. Assignment details: The PsyD will be involved in administering, scoring, and interpreting neuropsychological and psychological tests. They will receive training in these areas, as well as in writing neuropsychological evaluation reports. The PsyD will also be exposed to clinical research as available. Additionally, the PsyD will provide short-term psychotherapy under the supervision of the clinical director, manage clinical intakes, progress notes, and treatment goals for patients.
