SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE The Floor Manager is responsible for delivering excellence in guest service by developing relationships with guests, providing personalized service, anticipating and delivering guests' needs. Key Responsibilities: Direct functions of night operations management and planning in conjunction with the Director of Operations, inspiring team members to achieve and exceed targets in areas including guest relations, team member relations, costs and efficiencies, and sales and revenue. Analyze night operations needs, including staffing, forecasting, controlling, and supervising. Oversee nighttime security staff, directing and assigning responsibilities as needed. Assign and delegate responsibility and authority for night operations. Perform opening and closing procedures. Partner with the Director of Operations and handyman to ensure property maintenance. Ensure all team members on the night shift are trained to maximize service, production, and efficiency. Administer misconduct, documented coaching, and records of conversation to hold team members accountable to Pretty Ricky's policies and standards. Own the guest experience on the night shift, greeting VIP arrivals and handling all guest incidents. Maintain thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing equal employment opportunity and civil rights, occupational safety and health, wage and hour issues, and labor relations. Meet and exceed Pretty Ricky's core objectives and values as an ambassador. Think and act like an owner, conducting meetings and coordinating with staff to lead toward guest satisfaction, maximizing profit and productivity. Work with Events Managers and Director of Operations to satisfy special group requests. Maintain clean and excellent condition of all Pretty Ricky's spaces. Communicate with neighboring building and resolve any related issues that may arise during the night. Recognize repeat guests and build/maintain relationships with them. Ensure sanitation fundamentals and Health Department requirements are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Protect the name of the bar and Pretty Ricky's, ensuring no actions bring the company into disrepute. Take swift action in emergency or safety situations, prioritizing team members, guests, and property safety and well-being. Requirements: A minimum of four years' experience in a leadership role. A comprehensive understanding of the hospitality business. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and late hours when necessary. Upbeat, energetic, authentic, and professional attitude at all times. Team player who can assist other departments when needed.
