Dispatcher: Help Shape the Future of Transportation! Pittsburgh Transportation Group is urgently seeking a full-time Dispatcher. In this role, you will assist with the daily supervision of all drivers, bus service, charter reservations, vehicle assignments, and scheduling of fleet maintenance. The shift is Sunday - Thursday, 11:00am to 7:00pm. Essential Functions of a Dispatcher: Supervise the shuttle operation service daily in a fast-paced environment. Dispatch all scheduled services timely and efficiently, adhering to contract requirements, company policies, procedures, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Assist in weekly service scheduling and make necessary adjustments. Respond promptly and cooperatively to driver questions or issues. Oversee the collection of route data, operational indicators, and payroll indicators. Report daily on the operation of services for all contracts. Assign vehicles in coordination with contracts and vehicle maintenance. Coordinate fleet maintenance with the Maintenance staff. Provide information and pricing to current and potential customers. Input reservation requests and updates as needed. Assist Safety & Training Staff in observing and checking drivers to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, applicable laws, and safety requirements. Assist all staff in customer relations, including handling complaints, commendations, and requests. Perform all other duties as assigned.
