Job Title: Electronic AssemblerWe are currently seeking an experienced assembler to work in our custom cable shop completing jobs from start to finish. We make cables for various end clients that use them for jet fighters, submarines, and more. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of experience in cable assembly, wire harnesses, testing, and cutting cables. Experience with IPC 620 cabling and military standards is a plus. The ideal candidate will have experience completing a full job, not just one step in the process. Responsibilities include stripping wires, cutting wires, crimping wires, labeling, and soldering them to their connectors.Responsibilities Complete jobs from start to finish in the custom cable shop Strip wires, cut wires, crimp wires, label, and solder them to their connectors Read and follow schematics, drawings, and specifications Use hand and automated crimping tools Assist with various projects as assigned by the line lead Complete full projects or specific pieces as required Essential Skills 2+ years of cable assembly, wire harnesses, testing, and cutting cables Experience with IPC 620 cabling and military standards Ability to read and follow schematics, drawings, and specifications Proficiency in using hand and automated crimping tools Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a job shop or custom shop 2+ years of cable and harness assembly Attention to detail and ability to complete full jobs Why Work Here?You won't be bored here as there is always something different and challenging to do. Some parts of the shop are air-conditioned, while others are not. The company is owned by a couple, with the wife managing operations and the husband handling cable testing. The work hours are Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
