Curtis Stone's Michelin starred Gwen Specialty Butcher Shop and Restaurant  is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our team and ensure the highest standards of guest experience, operational efficiency, and financial performance. Position Overview: The General Manager will oversee all aspects of daily operations, including staff management, financial performance, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a positive and productive workplace culture. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service. Recruit, train, and manage staff, fostering a positive and motivated team environment. Monitor and maintain service quality, food safety standards, and customer experience. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve financial targets. Manage budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability. Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure menu quality, consistency, and innovation. Handle guest concerns and feedback to ensure positive customer relations. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, labor laws, and company policies. Develop staff schedules, ensuring proper coverage during peak hours. Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to maintain adequate stock levels. Lead team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews. Qualifications: Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role within a fine dining establishment. Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, financial management, and customer service best practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team. Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems, scheduling tools, and inventory software. Familiarity with Los Angeles' dining trends and guest expectations. Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
