This Opportunity WSP is looking for a Quality Manager to join our Project Controls team in Los Angeles, CA . Your Impact Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee overall compliance with identified in the Project Implementation Manual, Contracts and Quality Management Standards. Ensure project quality plans are being implemented in design, construction and deployment process and adequate records are being maintained for every step. Assist in the development of the new quality control processes where needed, in collaboration with the project team. Oversee and audit ongoing contracts to measure overall contract health through predetermined contract metrics. Conduct quality compliance audits and if needed manage oversight and resolution for contractor/equipment deficiencies observed for active contracts. Prepare project status reports to monitor and document on-going progress and record how adequate progress is being made within the assigned Task durations. Other duties as assigned. Who You Are Minimum Qualifications: Shall hold a 4-year degree and shall possess ASQ Certification and trained as a Lead Auditor in a Registrar Accreditation Board of the American Society for Quality (RABASQ) approved course on the requirements of ISO 9001. 10 years of experience in management positions in a production, manufacturing, or construction environment performing QA/QC auditing. Ability to oversee Contractor Quality Management procedures and practices. Demonstrated Quality Assurance experience on rail transit projects. Knowledge of ISO 9000 quality standards and its application to planning, design, and construction. Demonstrated experience in a QA/QC role in a fast-paced engineering environment. Compensation: Expected Salary: $133,400-198,220/year WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
