Overall Assignment Description of the Data Modeler Are you a skilled Data Modeler ready to contribute to our corporate mission and functions? Join our team and play a crucial role in conducting data modeling activities that support business stakeholders, analysts, and the workforce. Your work will define and analyze system and data requirements, ensuring the timely and accurate execution of our corporate mission. Key Responsibilities of the Data Modeler Advanced Data Modeling : Assist the Government by developing and utilizing complex models, tools, and algorithms to uncover trends and patterns within our corporate data. Business Process Modeling : Collaborate with the Business Architect to model business processes, supporting re-engineering, optimization, or the integration of technical solutions such as automation and advanced machine learning. Architectural Modeling : Create models that capture NGA's architectures, requirements, and systems performance, aligning with NGA's strategies and future vision for our corporate mission. Analysis Support : Develop models to aid in the analysis of alternatives, performance trades, design choices, and new capabilities. Your work will inform decisions within existing NSG architectures and cloud environments. Required Skills and Experience of the Data Modeler U.S. Citizenship : This position requires U.S. citizenship. Top Secret SCI (TS/SCI) Security Clearance : A current TS/SCI security clearance issued by the U.S. Government is mandatory for this role. Educational Background : Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM degree program. Alternatively, demonstrate equivalent mid-level work experience as a Data Modeler. Data Modeling Proficiency : Bring mid-level experience in government or industry, particularly in modeling large, complex System of Systems or Service-Oriented Architecture/Cloud environments. Desired Skills and Experience of the Data Modeler Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) : Experience with MBSE processes, tools, and languages is a plus.
