Occupational Therapist Requirements Graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy (OT) college or university. Unencumbered Occupational Therapy (OTR/L) license for New York. 1 year of Home Health, Outpatient experience preferred as a Occupational Therapist Conduct home visit Occupational Therapy assessments of referred patients providing direct patient care to assess medical conditions, functional capabilities, limitations, and potential for rehabilitation Basic computer literacy skills Proficient in EMR documentation (we use Hello Note but experience in this system is not required).
