Currently, we are seeking a Bulk Oil Transport Delivery Driver - CDL Class A with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement at our DECATUR, IL location HOME EVERY NIGHT!!! Summary/Objective: To transport and deliver petroleum products to customers by applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and roads in the area. This position involves the CDL A driver to be knowledgeable in full bulk & package transport loading, hauling, and delivery at several different customer locations. This position needs to be reliable and detailed in order to ensure accuracy of deliveries at several high-profile customer locations. This position will involve tank wagon driving and deliveries when full transport duties are limited. The following are essential functions of the job: Loads, hauls, and delivers full tractor trailer transport loads to various customers Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations. Drives tank trucks to deliver bulk lubricants to customers. Reads gauges or meters and records quantity loaded. Records amount delivered on I-Pad and obtain customer signature. Inspect truck for defects and safe operating conditions before, during and after trips and submit a written report on the condition of the truck at the end of each trip or tour of duty. If a defect is found, Driver will communicate to Supervisor. Apply knowledge of commercial driving and skills in maneuvering vehicles at varying speeds in difficult situations, such as heavy traffic, inclement weather and in or out of tight areas. Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations including drivers record of duty status, mileage records, and other records required by law. Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs. Expected Hours of Work: Hours are determined by Morgan Distributing, Inc. Bulk Oil Dispatch Supervisor based on demand and customer need. This position involves hours before and beyond core hours of 8:00 to 5:00. Position is guaranteed 40 hours a week, however, overtime is not a guarantee. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED. Several years of relevant CDL A full transport experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job. Valid CDL License Class A. HAZMAT Endorsement Tanker Endorsement.
