Compensation and Benefits:  Hourly Pay Range: $16 - $18 plus tips ($5-$7 p/h) (based on experience and qualifications)  Benefits (Full-Time Employees Only): Health Insurance: Available after three months of continuous employment 401(k) Retirement Plan: Eligible after one year of continuous employment with company matching up to 3% Sick Days: Accrued based on hours worked, up to 40 hours per year Holiday Pay: Time-and-a-half pay for designated holidays if scheduled to work Paid Vacation: One week after one year of employment, two weeks after two years, and three weeks after five years Responsibilities: Provide warm, friendly, and spontaneous service that goes beyond expectations. Our customer interactions should be natural, engaging, and tailored to each guest, ensuring a welcoming experience. Assist customers with orders, payments, and personalized recommendations. Maintain an organized and clean workspace, set up and restock displays, and ensure the café is running smoothly. Support opening and closing duties, food inventory management, and basic equipment upkeep. Barista Skills (Preferred): Candidates with barista experience will have the opportunity to craft high-quality coffee beverages, dial in espresso shots, steam milk to the correct texture, and execute latte art. Maintaining a clean and well-stocked coffee station is essential. Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and a passion for specialty coffee are a plus. Qualifications: A positive, customer-first attitude with strong communication skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask. Open availability, including weekends, is required.
