The Director of Strategic Partnerships plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless and effective management of Chef Eric Ripert's office while also representing Le Bernardin in both internal and external business development initiatives. This position serves as a strategic partner in advancing the success of Le Bernardin and all associated Eric Ripert ventures, overseeing key aspects of the business. The role encompasses a broad scope of responsibilities, including executive-level administrative support for Chef Ripert, as well as leadership in marketing, business development, and partnership management to drive the brand's continued growth and influence. Executive level Office Administration/Support for Chef Ripert - Calendar management for Chef Ripert and all Le Bernardin activities and events where Chef Ripert is present - Manages the Daily Agenda for Chef Ripert, point of contact for organizing all of Chef Ripert's internal and external meetings. Anticipate needs in advance. - Daily email and phone correspondence on behalf of Chef Ripert - Oversees Chef's travel arrangements. Research and book travel accommodations and flight itineraries. Secure VIP reservations. Create detailed itineraries and checks for accuracy. - Acts as Chef Ripert's right hand, assisting him with all requests when needed - Oversees internal monthly Chef's office and marketing budget, coordinating with accounting team - Creates P.O.s and invoices for Chef Ripert appearances, cooking demos, brand partnerships etc. making sure they are submitted on time and approved by accounting department - Works with kitchen and front of house teams on various administrative tasks Business Development and Partnerships - Oversees Le Bernardin's existing partnerships with charity partners, luxury brands, financial institutions, offsite restaurant properties, tourism boards, small businesses etc. - Negotiates new strategic partnerships with above types of companies and organizations -Manages any contracts and agreements for these partnerships, keeping track of timeline and financial details - Organizes appearances, cooking demos, and brand partnership events for Chef Ripert - Serves as communication liaison for Chef Ripert and Le Bernardin - Does market research and proposes creative partnership ideas for Chef Ripert and Le Bernardin in collaboration with outside PR company Marketing and PR - Senior point of contact for external public relations, design, and production teams to ensure consistent strategic brand direction - Daily communication and email correspondence with external PR agency regarding press opportunities and strategy. Collaborates to decide on strategic opportunities for the company. - Oversees project management of brand marketing materials including print marketing collateral as well as email marketing (internal and external) - Point of contact for creative, editorial, production and publicist teams on the execution and launch of Eric Ripert projects such as cookbooks, TV, film etc. and helps to streamline project and teams to make sure that projects are on track and deadlines are met - Works with media outlets in collaboration with PR company to schedule and organize press opportunities and photo shoots - Organizes photo shoots, working with outside vendors as well as internal kitchen and front of house teams to determine appropriate shot list, schedules, and complete necessary paperwork - Day of contact for photo shoots, representing Le Bernardin and making sure everything runs smoothly and all parties are content Social and Digital Media and Marketing - Supervises Creative Content and Projects Strategist, who is responsible for day-to-day social media management for Le Bernardin, Eric Ripert, Aldo Sohm Wine Bar, and Le Bernardin Prive accounts - Reviews social media calendar and provides feedback on photo and video content as well as copy for all four social media accounts - Works with Creative Content Strategist and outside photographers and videographers to create original content for all social accounts - Approves copy for websites and checks to make sure websites are up to dat - Troubleshoots website issues and upgrades - Monitors e-newsletter schedule, creates and/ or approves e-newsletters - Monitors promotional reporting with support of content strategist External Events - Point of contact for outside Le Bernardin and Chef Ripert events - Liaises arrangements and logistics with outside vendors (Examples include charity events, industry events, collaboration dinners, etc.) - Attends industry events and award ceremonies with Chef Ripert when needed, represents the brand Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a Marketing/PR role - Experience collaborating with members of an executive office team - Familiarity working in a deadline-driven and highly accountable environment - Superior organizational and time-management skills - Experience communicating and building relationships with stakeholders inside and outside the company - Experience working with a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality - Strong creative problem-solving skills and interpersonal flexibility - Experience working in restaurants and/or knowledge of and passion for the hospitality industry is a plus!
