Supplier Quality Engineer 2

Our client, a leading organization in the engineering sector, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Management Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a results-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer Location: Charlotte, NC Pay Range: $30.00-35.00 per hour What's the Job? Conduct supplier qualification and development, ensuring high technical and quality standards. Lead cross-functional teams to perform Product and Process Qualification (PPQ) according to applicable standards. Implement and optimize the Supplier Quality Management Process to ensure requested quality levels. Initiate and implement supplier quality improvement programs and conduct root cause analysis. Participate in design reviews and support early supplier involvement for new designs. What's Needed? Bachelor of Science Degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or a similar discipline; Master's Degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in supplier qualification and technical supplier development. Experience in leading projects and managing virtual cross-functional teams in an international environment. Extensive knowledge in welding and coating; CWI certification preferred. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. What's in it for me?
