Printing Estimator

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLeading flexible package printing and converting company in IL is searching to hire an Estimator due to client demand.Responsibilities include:• Receives requests for price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations directly from domestic & international customers as well as the sales team and distributors.• Estimates material and labor costs based on analysis of customer specifications, pricing schedules for labor and materials, and historical data, and expedites job costing to customers as requested.• Prioritizes and maintains the status of multiple on going projects.• Conducts extensive detailed communication with customer engineers, manufacturing partners, and material suppliers.• Recommends purchases as needed to meet or improve the production schedule.• Analyzes post-production costs and uses data to inform future project estimates.• Works within ERP system to search and review data, as well as input of information.• Handles customer calls, including contacting customers to ascertain data omitted on orders, providing production status, coordinating special instructions and managing customer requests.Qualifications include:• 10+ years of manufacturing related experience and 3+ years Estimating experience in the printing industry; Flexible Packaging industry experience preferred.• Previous ERP/MRP experience required, Radius MRP system experience a plus.• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint and Outlook) required.• Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate and share knowledge with others.• Works well with other departments in communication of timelines, priorities and resolving issues.Excellent career opportunity with company in growth mode.Starting salary range $85,000 - $110,000 + benefits, perks and 401k match.Company DescriptionNationwide, recruiting firm for the Printing & Packaging industries representing premier firms.We treat candidate information in strict confidence.Company DescriptionNationwide, recruiting firm for the Printing & Packaging industries representing premier firms./r/nWe treat candidate information in strict confidence.
