Job DescriptionJob DescriptionEstimator - Packaging & Printing Solutions Are you an experienced Estimator with a knack for numbers, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for the packaging and printing industry? We are a mid-sized, family-oriented packaging manufacturer seeking a driven professional to join our estimating team. With upcoming retirements, we're looking for someone who can step in, hit the ground running, and help drive our business forward. What We Offer: Competitive Pay: $70,000 - $80,000 annually, based on experienceRetirement Plans: Start planning your future with our 401(k) with company matchingComprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and life insuranceWork-Life Balance: Flexible hours (typically 7:30 AM - 4:45 PM) with understanding managementCollaborative Culture: Our leadership team fosters a supportive, team-first environment Key Responsibilities: Accurately calculate job estimates for customers, ensuring timely and cost-effective quotesResearch and secure outside costs for dies, materials, and services to build competitive quotesOffer suggestions for efficient layouts and production methods to maximize profitabilityAct as a key liaison between the sales team and customers, providing excellent service and clear communicationDevelop strong relationships with clients and internal teams through email and phone interactionsContinuously evaluate production methods to enhance efficiency and profitabilityProvide support to the sales team and assist with job management as needed What We're Looking For: Experience: Previous estimating experience in a packaging, printing, or finishing environment is requiredIndustry Knowledge: Familiarity with die cutting, lamination, gluing, or related printing / finishing processes is Education: BS/BA degree is a plus but not requiredTech Skills: Basic proficiency in Excel, Word, and other computer systems (experience with a job management system is a bonus)Attention to Detail: Strong math skills and an organized, detail-oriented mindset are essentialPersonality: Self-motivated, reliable, and a strong communicator who enjoys building client relationships Why Join Us?
