Pest Control Technician

The Pest Control Technician will manage an assigned territory of residential and commercial; properties providing timely, professional pest control treatments.Duties and Responsibilities: Completes daily assigned work in a timely, efficient manner Provides high-quality customer service to clients Build lasting relationships with clients to maximize route performance and increase density Prepare truck daily by ensuring proper product selection and quantity Diagnose and make recommendations for a variety of common pest-related issues Prevent structural pest infestations by using principles of Integrated Pest Management Operate all assigned equipment in a safe manner Complete daily vehicle and equipment inspections; schedule or complete any maintenance as needed Notifies Department Supervisor of required attention to vehicle or equipment if beyond the scope of technician's understanding Compiles with Safety Culture and other rules and regulations Completes all production paperwork timely and accurately Generates leads for new and existing clients Meets or exceeds daily production goals Meets or exceeds performance goals Performs other related duties as assigned Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication skills Excellent customer service skill Ability to remain organized Ability to be self-motivated Ability to learn, identify, and diagnose pest-related issues Ability to earn Pesticide Applicators License Must be able to work 40 hours per week Must be able to work overtime if necessary Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma or Equivalent required Previously experience in IPM is preferred Pesticide Applicators License in CORE and Category 11 is preferred Valid Driver's License with no major delinquencies in the past 5 years Ability to use CRM programs and other related technologies Ability to do basic math Physical Requirements: Must be able to climb and stand on a ladder or extended periods of time Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
