Sales and Business Development Associate

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Sales and Business Development Associate to join our team. This role is critical for driving outreach to 401k/retirement plans, CPA firms, and other potential prospects for our partner firms. As a newly-created position, you will play a key role in identifying and connecting with potential clients, scheduling meaningful business meetings, and gaining insight into the complete sales cycle"”from initial conversation to negotiation and signing. Successful candidates will have the chance to accompany our partners' advisory teams on initial calls and meetings, providing a valuable experience in the business development field. Those who prove their aptitude in driving growth over two to three years will have opportunities for advancement in a Corporate Development role at one of WPCG's partner firms. Duties and Responsibilities Engaging with potential clients and joint venture partners across multiple regions Coordinating and organizing initial calls and meetings with senior colleagues from partner firms Maintaining and updating the CRM system Performing additional outreach and team responsibilities as assigned Skills and Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in an outbound business development role Proven track record of successful business development outcomes Experience with RIAs and Financial Advisors is a plus Bachelor's degree is required Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Proficient in CRM platforms, PowerPoint, and MS Office Excellent communication and sales skills Other Position Requirements Position based in New York City or West Palm Beach, FL Compensation ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience Excellent benefits offered
