Job Summary:As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will be at the heart of our operations, working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment to improve and streamline supply chain processes. By applying principles of 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma, you'll help us enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and deliver better results.Your expertise in planning, organization, and continuous improvement will ensure that our supply chain runs smoothly and meets the needs of both our team and our customers. Responsibilities: Maintain optimal inventory levels to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations, utilizing Lean principles to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.Collaborate with supply chain technicians, procurement teams, and other stakeholders to streamline shipment and receipt processes, ensuring adherence to 5S standards for organization.Act as a liaison with Finance and Accounting departments to ensure alignment on inventory management and supply chain costs, contributing to overall financial accuracy and efficiency.Collaborate with product engineers to understand design requirements, align supply chain operations with product development, and maintain a cohesive and efficient workflow.Proactively manage inventory consumption rates with a focus on predictive analytics, ensuring a balanced, just-in-time supply approach.Evaluate and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) by applying Six Sigma DMAIC methodology to identify and mitigate risks, reduce bottlenecks, and enhance process reliability.Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure on-time and efficient freight deliveries, minimizing delays and costs.Drive a culture of continuous improvement by promoting Lean Six Sigma methodologies across supply chain functions to achieve sustainable operational excellence. This role is about more than just numbers- it's about building strong relationships, fostering a cohesive environment, and making a real impact by ensuring our supply chain supports both innovation and operational excellence. Skills and Qualifications: Associate degree in supply chain, Business or Accounting; bachelor's degree preferred.2 years inventory/supply chain experience.Experience using ERP software systems.Experience interacting with other departments - Design, Finance, Accounting, etc.Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, and mentor team members, manage cross-functional projects, and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels to achieve organizational objectives.
