Position Overview FNA Engineering is seeking a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager - Site Civil Engineering to lead the planning, design, and permitting of site civil, land development, and infrastructure projects in New York and New Jersey. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining client relationships and ensuring successful project execution. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and execution of site layouts, grading, drainage, stormwater management, erosion control, and permitting Manage multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget Act as the primary client contact , maintaining strong relationships and identifying new opportunities Oversee and coordinate regulatory approvals with agencies such as NYC DOB, DEP, DOT, NYSDEC, and NJDEP Provide technical leadership in stormwater management, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, and SWPPP preparation Mentor and develop junior engineers and project staff Work closely with leadership to identify growth opportunities and optimize team resources Collaborate with structural, MEP, and geotechnical teams to ensure seamless project execution Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred) Professional Engineer (PE) license (NY required, NJ preferred) 7 to 10 years of experience in site civil engineering and land development Minimum 4 years of experience with NYC projects Strong knowledge of NYC and NJ land use processes, permitting, and regulatory standards Proven experience in client development, project management, and team leadership Proficiency in project management software (BQE Core experience is a plus) Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package (medical, dental, and vision) 401(k) with company contribution.
