We are seeking a motivated and experienced DevOps and Deployment Engineer to join our team and take responsibility for automating our manual software deployment processes. The ideal candidate is passionate about efficiency, has a strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) methodologies, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment to drive operational excellence. Work Mode: We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you'll be coming into the office 2 days a week and given the flexibility to work remotely the rest of the time. Job Responsibilities: Process Automation: Design, implement, and manage automated deployment pipelines to streamline the delivery of software products. Tool Integration: Identify, integrate, and maintain automation tools and technologies to support the deployment process. This may include CI/CD platforms like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps. Monitoring and Reporting: Develop scripts and tools to monitor automation processes, generating reports and dashboards for continuous improvement and operational insights. Documentation: Create and maintain thorough documentation of automation processes, technical requirements, and standardized procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance with best practices. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues in automation workflows, providing timely support and solutions to keep the deployment process on track. Qualifications: 5 years or more experience in software deployment, automation engineering, or a related field. Work experience in AI area is a plus. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Proficiency with CI/CD tools. Example: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Terraform. Proficiency with version control systems, particularly GitLab. Hands-on experience with automation of cloud platforms like AWS and Azure. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills.
