Position Summary Responsible for the management of all investor relations activities. Responsibilities include: managing the flow of financial and other information between the company, its shareholders and the financial community; acting as a company spokesperson to position and market the company to investors and potential investors; developing strategies and implementing programs to keep the financial community current on company performance and industry trends; advising company management and board of directors about financial and industry trends, shareholders concerns and competitors actions that may impact the company. Also responsible for coordinating and responding to various investors on all Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues. Essential Responsibilities Develop investor programs and presentations for the financial community to ensure the accurate portrayal of the company's performance and prospects to the investor community. Develop scripts and Q&A documents for presentations and conference calls. Assisting in the development of the earnings release. Develop and manage investor targeting programs. Act as liaison between executive management and financial community audiences to ensure the financial community clearly understand the financial implications of implementing corporate strategy. Advises executives and senior management of key business matters affecting the company's position in the investment community including bond ratings, buy/sell recommendations, and analyst forecasts of the company's financial strength. Provide analytical support to corporate Finance for equity and debt financings. Provide support to Accounting and Communications in the development of various financial reports including the annual report, Form 10-K, Form 10-Q and other filings. Provide analytical support for regulatory filings, including development of testimony and responding to data requests. Monitor and analyze company and peer company trends, recommending actions when necessary. Administer rating agency relations for the company and its subsidiaries by maintaining a working relationship with the rating agency analysts. Preparing, presenting, and following up on bond rating evaluations. Higher ratings lead to lower cost of capital. Work with Sustainability team to coordinate and respond to all ESG issues including: investor calls, survey response, requests for information, reviewing/editing ESG reports, development of ESG presentations, etc. Minimum Requirements - Director, Investor Relations Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related discipline required. CFA, CPA, MBA, or related advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 6 years' experience at an investment bank or investment fund specifically covering the utilities sector, or 8 years combined experience within related functional areas including: financial analysis/planning, financial reporting, and/or accounting is required. Specialized experience within utility industry finance, accounting, and/or regulation preferred. Investor Relations experience preferred. Utility experience strongly preferred. Strong computer skills for financial/economic modeling (e.g., spreadsheets) and development of presentations (e.g., charts, word processing, slides). Demonstrated planning, analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills. Ability to communicate complex information in an articulate, accurate and positive manner. Knowledgeable of SEC and other financial disclosure requirements. Familiarity with GAAP. Knowledge of long-term corporate business strategy. Experience and strong skills utilizing Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Minimum Requirements - Senior Director, Investor Relations Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related discipline required. The anticipated starting base pay for Director, Investor Relations: $144,800-$205,600 per year. The anticipated starting base pay for Senior Director, Investor Relations: $166,500-$236,434 per year.
