Follow company policy and procedures.Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:- Job duties include but are not limited to -Installs, maintains, inspects and repairs residential, commercial piping and plumbing equipment concerned with potable water, gas and sewage systemsTroubleshoots plumbing systemsTesting systems installedInstalls a variety of plumbing fixtures, valves and pumpsAdvises on the selection and purchase of plumbing supplies and equipmentConsults with other trades staffInstructs and leads helpers and other assistantsPerforms related duties as assignedQualifications:Approved background and references Able to furnish all hand toolsCapable of working from blueprintsKnowledge of the principles, methods, tools and equipment used in the plumbing tradesMust know safety practices and have general knowledge of the plumbing codeMust possess the skill to layout, rough in, top out and perform finish plumbing workSkilled in measuring, cutting pipes and using hand/power tools and equipment Able to follow oral and written directionsAbility to establish and maintain positive and cooperative working relationships Education/Training/Experience:Ability to calculate basic mathAbility to read blueprints, work from plans and specifications to determine layout of water supply, waste, and venting systemsMust be knowledgeable with plumbing codes3-5 years of experience as a journeyman level plumberMust be familiar and comply with OSHA standards and company safety policies Physical Capabilities:Able to lift 50 pounds of materialAble to do overhead workHealth compatible with a construction site environmentHave the ability to work 8 hours a dayBenefits: J.
