Position Summary: As an industry leader in wholesale, retail, and residential food distribution, Baldor Specialty Foods continues to grow and evolve at a rapid pace across all departments. Seafood Processors are employees tasked with the job of processing and refining raw materials to finished goods. Tasks include but are not limited to: sorting and inspecting multiple types of seafood, receiving seafood, carrying heavy volumes of product, working in a refrigerated and wet environment, pin-boning and filleting fish, and others. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Package, weigh and label product Place product into freezers Discard incidental fish and fish that cannot be processed. Place the fish correctly into the designated slots Inspect the product to ensure that it conforms to established quality control guidelines. Place frozen, product into totes and bins Operate and clean factory equipment Load and unload product from the delivery truck Qualifications: Must have at least 6 months - 1 year of recent food processing experience Work 8+ hours per day, 7 days a week Perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time Regularly lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs. Standing in place for long periods of time Repetitive motions using hands, arms, legs and back Frequent rotations and twisting at waist Working long hours in a wet environments (8+ hours per day, 7 days a week) Able to work continuously in a cold environment at room temperature of 36°F - 38°F Prompt and regular attendance required
