Intimate Apparel Designer Client Overview: Lead Design and Manufacturer ofIntimate Apparel , Sleepwear and Shapewear. Position Overview:As a Designer you will be responsible for overseeing that the designs, technical layouts and functional details of the garment have been checked prior to bulk production including color and quality as well as brand approval. Responsibilities: • Sketching in Illustrator • Development tech packs • Trim development • Manage junior level staff • Lead seasonal research • Attend fittings Qualifications: • 5-6+ years of experience in apparel design, intimates experience a must • Proficient problem-solving abilities in design and highly skilled in full knowledge regarding the functional aspect of packaging design. • Exceptional attention to detail, encompassing alignment, font consistency, and correct branding. • Exceptional eye for design • Excellent time management skills; demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines, and ability to work under pressure • Strong verbal and written communication skills; dependable, detail-oriented, well organized. • This position will communicate with the Technical Design and Production teams, license partners, and factories on design, development, and approvals. • Expert with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other related programs, such as Microsoft office suite.
