About The Job The Metropolitan Golf Association (MGA) seeks an energetic individual to assist with our public golf initiatives in the NY Metropolitan area. This role will report to the Director of Member Services. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Events & Programming Assist in planning and executing strategies to support membership growth goals by establishing new and creative programs/events to engage non-members and prospective members for member clubs and the Association. Help coordinate engaging public golf play days across member facilities. Contribute to the creation of new opportunities while enhancing existing programs to increase participation. Organize clinics and leagues that welcome players of all skill levels. Assist in designing innovative events that showcase MGA member public facilities. Strategic Membership Growth & Partnerships Support the building and strengthening of relationships with public golf facilities throughout the NY Metropolitan area. Assist in implementing strategic onsite promotion at public facilities to increase awareness of MGA services. Promote and support member club engagement and retention programs to help existing clubs thrive and grow. Cultivate the MGA's strategic growth pillars through targeted public golf initiatives. Manage a Public Golf Forum to facilitate communication and collaboration. Work with senior staff in the development of comprehensive marketing strategies to support initiatives. What You Bring to the MGA: PGA/LPGA professional certification or enrollment/graduation from a PGM program preferred. Demonstrated passion for golf and growing the game. Energetic personality with a growth mindset. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Marketing experience, particularly with social media and digital platforms. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends when events are scheduled. Valid driver's license and can travel regularly throughout the tri-state area. Compensation and Benefits: This is a full-time position that includes: travel expense reimbursement, paid time off (PTO), medical, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, and a 401K plan. Compensation range is $50,000-60,000 commensurate with experience, education, and qualifications. Bonus opportunities. This hybrid position requires a minimum of 3 days per week in our office in Elmsford, NY.
