DescriptionInventory/Shipping & Receiving Clerk - Full-Time This position is full-time. The responsibility of the Inventory/Shipping & Receiving Clerk is to maintain the accuracy of the stock items held in the secure inventory area. You will oversee pulling parts from stock for production according to build orders, cycle count the inventory routinely, receive new inventory as it arrives daily, and manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies. Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are essential for this position. Standard days and flex-time hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is expected to dedicate the time required to meet the company's strategic plan. Responsibilities • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Receiving incoming stock items and properly processing them • Processing pick requests with timeliness and accuracy • Performing regular cycle counts following the company's schedule and processes • The ability and willingness to become a certified "hi-lo" forklift operator within the first 90 days of employment • Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies • Collaborates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products • Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments • Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area • Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables • Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves and scanned inventory • Engages with vendors and drivers with a cheerful outlook • Other duties may be assigned Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. • MUST HAVE experience working with FED EX & UPS • MUST HAVE experience with operating systems • PREFER familiarity with electrical components • Positive attitude and service mindset • Strong mechanical aptitude • Ability to work both individually and in groups • Apply good judgment and follow directions • Ability to multi-task, set project priorities, and establish department goals and objectives for self • Computer skills and knowledge of data entry and inventory software programs, including Microsoft applications (i.e., Excel, Word, PPT, etc.) • Strong attention to detail and written/verbal communication skills • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Ability to anticipate and solve technical problems and resolve issues. Keen sense of time organization and urgency • Physical dexterity and experience operating forklifts
