Junior Staff Accountant

About the Company: Extremely stable non-profit organization in existence over 30 years Recipient of over 15 community based awards year over year Position is hybrid and located in Staten Island, NY, close to multiple forms of public transportation including the Staten Island Ferry + major buses Parking lot available on site Large Accounting department with excellent training and tons of room for advancement and upward movement Responsibilities: Assist Senior Accountant with Accounts Payable functions including matching, batching and coding invoices Assist with AP process automation including adding ACH information, adding vendors to electronic database, etc. Respond to audit requests as needed Assist with basic month end closing procedures including bank and account reconciliations as needed Experience Preferred: 2 years or more of Accounting experience Non-profit experience a plus Intacct knowledge a major plus!#INJAN2024 #CBJAN2024
