Are You Up for the Challenge?Our Great Valley Division located in Bridgeport, PA is looking for reliable, motivated, and hardworking Class A CDL Drivers with Tanker Endorsement who play a critical role on our team to support our ongoing success in a family-like company environment while safely and responsibility removing our communities' trash and recycling. Seizure disorder(s)Certain Sleep Disorders, such as NarcolepsyContact the Human Resources Department if you wish to request an accommodation or further discuss the above restrictions.What You Will Do:Operate a tractor trailer in accordance with DOT Regulations, Company policy, and in accordance with established standards for excellent customer service on established daily route sheets, special orders, and regular work ordersResponsible for the safe and efficient operation of the tractor and tankerTransports and offloads leachate at a regulated wastewater treatment plantsCoordinates regularly with the Operations Manager to ensure all loads are completed as well as communicate any questionable materials and special instructionsObtain load weight tickets and sign for loads and maintains any related records required, i.e. driver's log, route sheets, work orders, special request work, etc.Cleans truck daily to ensure the vehicle meets company expectations, inclusive but not limited to the cabPerforms daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections as outlined in the pre and post trip vehicle condition report Reports any maintenance issues on the vehicle condition report and reports it immediately to the route supervisor or operations managerImmediately reports to the company and accident, traffic violation, or license suspensionAs well as other duties as assigned or described in the job description for this role Job Qualifications:A minimum of 2+ years of commercial driving experience.A valid PA Commercial Driver's License CDL Class A with Tanker endorsement.Must meet all required DOT physical and medical requirements and pass a substance abuse screening. As a safety sensitive employee, all drivers are subject to random substance abuse screening under DOT and company policy.Ability to effectively deal with customers and co-workers.Requires a high degree of attention and considerable dexterity in the control of the vehicle to prevent damage to truck, equipment, or surrounding items.Ability to sit in the cab of the truck for long periods.
