Container Handler Operator / Side Pick Operator

The starting pay is $22.30-26.60 Container Handler Operators/Side Pick Operators are responsible for organizing the container yard and safely loading / unloading intermodal containers within the yard. We are located 189 Burma Road Oakland, California 94607 United States Responsibilities Container Handler Operator/Side Pick Operator * Stacks and unstacks intermodal containers & chassis. * Unloads and loads Intermodal containers from and on to chassis. * Follows the established yard plan when stacking containers and chassis. * Works with the gate in handling drivers dropping off and picking up equipment. * Supports the shop for the repair of chassis and containers. * Moves refrigerated containers to and from power lines and wash bays. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications * Qualifications include high school diploma / GED. * Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. * You must be willing to work outdoors and in all weather conditions. * All candidates must possess a valid state driver's license. * Previous experience in operating a container handler required. * Previous experience in operating a crane and/or heavy equipment is a plus. * Previous experience in Container Handling . * Previous Hostler Operator a plus.
