Opportunity Overview SD Solutions is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Engineer to join our team supporting Digital Modernization program to provide agile technical delivery activities and are responsible for crafting technical strategy with our larger technical team. This position is remote. Responsibilities Include Designing, developing, and deploying modern Java web applications iteratively in the AWS environment using DevSecOps tools Experience with Object Oriented or Functional Programming Working in a JVM based language such as Java, Kotlin, or Scala Familiarity with Test Driven Development Interest in Pair Programming Experience working with Cloud Technologies (AWS, GCP, etc.) Active Public Trust Clearance with IRS agency is a requirement BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience in related area with at least 8 years of software engineering experience Experience working in Agile Development environments (Scrum, SAFe) At least 3+ years of experience working in AWS environment Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps Experience working in cloud native systems Experience implementing modern web applications Experience leading teams of technologists of varying backgrounds and levels of experience Experience managing end-to-end delivery, from UX design to production release Experience working with Configuration Management/Automation technologies such as Cloud Formation, Terraform, Ansible, etc. Experience working with container-based technology such as Docker Experience working within Continuous Delivery Patterns and Practices Experience operationalizing, monitoring, and maintaining distributed systems Clearance requirement: Must be U.S. Citizen This position is Remote Active Public Trust Clearance with IRS agency is a requirement SD Solutions Culture We are a fast-growing company who puts people first.
